My Christmas gift
I don't know how to explain it, or where to begin;
But on December 10th 2009, I almost met my end.
In a drama that sounds almost Hollywood like;
I would enter a war, No one can prepare to fight.
How do you prepare to fight for your life?
When your world is of chaos and meaningless strife?
The answer is simple, you can't my friends;
When your time is up, you're left with dead ends.
That's why I advise to live in every moment you can;
For your existence is on God's time table and in his hands.
As I layed in my hospital bed frail and weak,
So disoriented and confused I could barely speak.
I remember a nurse who knocked on my door,
He entered and said: " For you, young lady..God has more."
The magnatude of his words hit me with such great force;
That night my life would slowly change course.
As I am still in recovery from knocking on deaths door,
Mentally and emotionally I know I'm meant for much more.
For what? exactly, I'm not sure yet.
But God has been testing me, his plan is set.
